This comprehensive training day provides a glimpse into the foundational fitness techniques of Muay Thai, allowing you to immerse yourself in this exhilarating martial art and embark on a journey toward improved physical strength and mental clarity.
In our beginner program, you'll lay the groundwork for your Muay Thai journey. We prioritize safety and technique, focusing on building a strong foundation. Here's what you'll learn:
1. Proper Stance: Master the essential stances that form the basis of Muay Thai. Learn how to stand confidently and move with agility.
2. Hand Wrapping: Discover the art of hand wrapping, a critical skill to protect your hands during training.
3. Fundamental Strikes: You'll be introduced to the fundamental strikes, including punches, kicks, elbows, knees, and the "push kick,"all executed with precision.
4. Pad Work and Bag Work: You'll engage in pad work and bag work to refine your techniques and build power in your strikes. This is an integral part of training at all levels.
5. At this stage, we emphasize proper form and confidence-building, without engaging in sparring or clinching.
