About Jor. Aphichat Muay Thai Gym
Jor. Aphichat Muay Thai Gym is an authentic, family-friendly Muay Thai training camp located in Sing Buri, Thailand. For travellers who want the real thing — training alongside Thai fighters in a genuine working camp rather than a tourist-oriented studio — this is the place to experience Muay Thai as it is truly practised. The gym welcomes everyone, from complete beginners who have never trained before to those looking to get fit and lose weight, and you will learn the techniques and traditions of Muay Thai directly from an experienced professional.
Our Philosophy & Teaching Style
At Jor. Aphichat Muay Thai Gym, the mission goes beyond fighting. The camp is dedicated to promoting and preserving the traditional art of Muay Thai (Mae Mai Muay Thai), while encouraging young people to stay active, stay away from drugs, and make good use of their time. Students are taught not only how to strike, but also the values that come with the sport — how to win and lose gracefully, how to forgive, and how to use their own judgement to solve problems under pressure.
Training starts from the very basics, so no prior experience is required. There are no limits on age or gender — men, women, and children are all welcome to learn at their own pace.
Classes & Training Programs
The gym offers two main paths: recreational training for fitness and weight loss, and a full professional fighter's training schedule for those who want to commit seriously to the sport.
Professional training runs twice a day, six days a week (closed on Sundays):
- Morning session: 08:00 – 10:00
- Afternoon session: 15:00 – 17:00
Sample Daily Training Schedule
A typical day in the camp follows a structured, traditional Muay Thai routine:
- 07:00 — Roadwork: 8–10 km run
- Morning (08:00 – 10:00): 20 minutes skipping rope, 30–40 minutes of clinching, 3 rounds of pad work (5 minutes each), 30 minutes of technique drills, and 30 minutes of conditioning exercises
- 11:00 – 14:00 — Lunch and rest
- Afternoon (15:00 – 18:00): 30 minutes of jumping and skipping rope, 40–60 minutes of clinching, 5 rounds of pad work (5 minutes each), 30 minutes of technique drills, and 30 minutes of conditioning exercises
Meet Our Head Trainer
The camp is led by Kru Diesel Look Nong Saeng, a professional Muay Thai instructor. He was awarded Best Trainer of 2014 at Lumpinee Stadium — one of the most respected honours in Thai boxing — bringing genuine, ring-tested expertise to every student who trains under him.
Our Atmosphere & Facilities
Jor. Aphichat Muay Thai Gym offers an authentic Thai camp experience that many visitors travel to Thailand specifically to find. Training takes place in a genuine working gym where you follow the same routines as Thai fighters — roadwork, skipping, clinching, pad work, technique drills, and conditioning. The atmosphere is welcoming and community-focused, with dedication and respect at the heart of everything. For international students, it's a rare chance to immerse yourself in real Muay Thai culture, train hard, and become part of a true Thai camp.
