Lumpinee Boxing Stadium is one of the most prestigious Muay Thai venues in the world and is often regarded as the ultimate dream for fighters. Officially recognized by the Thai government, it has long been considered the most honorable Muay Thai stadium in the country.
Founded in 1956, Lumpinee has hosted countless historic Muay Thai and international boxing events. For anyone in the Muay Thai community, fighting at Lumpinee, and especially winning a Lumpinee championship belt, is a lifelong honor and career-defining achievement.
In 2014, the stadium relocated from its original site near Lumphini Park to Ram Inthra, close to Don Mueang Airport. The new venue accommodates around 9,500 spectators, offering modern facilities while preserving the stadium’s legendary spirit. Today, one of its most popular events is ONE Lumpinee, attracting global audiences.

Rajadamnern Stadium holds a special place in Muay Thai history as Thailand’s first-ever Muay Thai stadium, established in 1945, shortly after World War II. It marks the beginning of modern Muay Thai, introducing standardized rules, scoring systems, and championship belts.
Its reputation rivals Lumpinee Stadium, and the two are often mentioned together as the most prestigious arenas in the sport. While the exterior retains a classic, timeless charm, the interior has been continuously upgraded with modern lighting, sound, and production to keep pace with the times.
Located on Ratchadamnoen Road, Rajadamnern Stadium remains a major Bangkok landmark and a must-visit destination for both Thai and international Muay Thai fans.
