Class description
Muay Thai for a full day in Phuket — train both the morning and afternoon class at R1 Muay Thai Phuket in Bangtao.
This 1-day pass gives you access to both daily group classes at R1 Muay Thai Phuket — the morning class from 8:00–9:30 AM and the afternoon class from 4:30–6:00 PM, each running 90 minutes. That's up to two sessions in a single day, with classes available Monday to Saturday. Your pass is valid for 1 day only.
R1 Muay Thai Phuket brings the coaching standard of Rama1 Muay Thai — one of Melbourne's most respected gyms — to the birthplace of the sport. Training twice in one day is how Thai fighters structure their routine, and this pass lets you experience that rhythm for yourself: technique and pad work in the morning, then return in the afternoon to drill it again while it's still fresh. Coaches adjust the pace and intensity to your level in every class, so by the end of the day you'll feel the difference a double session makes — whatever your starting point.
Between the two classes, you have the whole midday to recover Phuket-style. Wander Phuket Old Town, around 19 km away, where the Sino-Portuguese shophouses along Thalang and Dibuk Roads are made for slow café mornings. Prefer the sea? Surin Beach is roughly 12 km from the gym with crystal-clear turquoise water shaded by casuarina trees, while Bangtao Beach — about 10 km away — offers one of the island's longest white-sand stretches, quieter than Patong and perfect for an easy swim before the afternoon bell.

FAQ
- How is the 1-day pass different from the 1-session pass?
The 1-session pass covers one class, while this 1-day pass covers both the morning (8:00–9:30 AM) and afternoon (4:30–6:00 PM) classes on the same date — up to 3 hours of training in one day for a fuller taste of the Thai training routine.
- Do I have to attend both classes?
No — the pass gives you access to both, but you can join just one if you prefer. Keep in mind the pass is valid for 1 day only, so any unused session doesn't carry over.
- Is training twice in one day too much for a beginner?
Coaches at R1 adjust the pace, intensity and technique to your experience in every class. Many beginners take the morning session at full effort and use the afternoon class to reinforce technique at a lighter pace — it's your day, train it your way.
- What's a good way to spend the break between classes?
The gap runs from late morning to late afternoon — enough time to eat, rest and recover. Bangtao Beach and Surin Beach are both within about 12 km of the gym if you want to relax by the sea before the afternoon session.
Bang Tao Beach (10 km):
One of Phuket’s longest beaches, known for its soft white sand, clear blue waters, and relaxed atmosphere. Quieter than Patong, it is especially popular with families and long-stay international visitors.
Phuket Old Town (19 km):
A vibrant cultural district known for its colorful Sino-Portuguese architecture, local cafés, and photogenic streets. Thalang Road and Dibuk Road are especially popular for exploring Phuket’s history, street culture, and local lifestyle.
