Class description

Intensive weekly Muay Thai training at Tao Muay Thai Gym in Phuket — two daily sessions, six days a week, for serious progress over a full week.

This intensive weekly package gives you two group sessions every training day, six days a week at Tao Muay Thai Gym in Phuket — the morning slot (08:00–10:00) and the afternoon slot (16:00–18:00) each day. Classes run Monday to Saturday with the gym closed on Sunday, each session lasts 120 minutes and takes a maximum of 12 students, giving you twelve full training sessions across the week.

Sessions are led by a team of experienced coaches who blend traditional Muay Thai with modern training methods. Because this package welcomes all levels, reception checks your experience and your coach adjusts every session to you, whether you are completely new or already train. Training twice a day for a full week is where real change happens — you drill each morning's work again in the afternoon, recover overnight, and repeat, so technique locks in and conditioning climbs fast, the way the gym's fighters prepare.

The gym's base in Wichit makes it easy to rest and explore on your Sunday off between intensive training days. Khao Khad Viewpoint and its 360-degree island views sit just 3.5 km away — an easy reward after a hard week. Phuket Old Town's colourful Sino-Portuguese streets, cafes, and street art are around 6 km from the gym, while Laem Phanwa, a quiet cape with a seaside aquarium, is about 7.1 km away for a slower recovery day.

Training Schedule

  • Monday to Saturday: Morning 08:00 – 10:00 and Afternoon 16:00 – 18:00 (both sessions daily)

Training Program

Each session follows the gym's training flow:

  • Warm-up — coach-led warm-up to prepare your body before training

Common Notes

  • Arrive on time — so come 10–15 minutes early to register, let reception check your level, and brief your coach before class starts.
  • Training is twice daily — pace yourself, hydrate well, and use the midday break between morning and afternoon sessions to recover.
  • The gym is closed on Sundays — a natural rest day to recover or explore the area.
  • Hand wraps and gloves are required — wrap your hands properly before training; ask staff if you need help.
  • Tell your coach about any injuries or health issues before training begins.
  • No sparring without coach permission — follow your coach's instructions at all times.
  • Respect Thai culture and Muay Thai traditions: shoes off in the training area, no food or drinks on the mats, and keep the gym clean.
  • In case of an emergency such as illness or a flight delay, rescheduling is possible only with supporting documentation (for example, a medical certificate or airline delay confirmation).

FAQ

  • Is twice-a-day training for a week too intense for a beginner?
Not if you pace yourself. The coach scales each session to your level, and the midday break plus Sunday off give your body time to recover.

  • How much progress will I make training twice daily for a week?
Significant. Twelve sessions in a week build conditioning fast and lock in technique far more than one session a day — close to a fighter's training block.

  • Do I have to attend both sessions every day?
The package is built for twice-daily training, but you set the pace — the more sessions you keep, the faster your week's progress.
