Class description

Ten Muay Thai group sessions at Chiangmai Muay Thai Gym — one month of consistent training to sharpen technique, build real fitness, and train with purpose in Chiang Mai's Old City.

This 10-session group class package at Chiangmai Muay Thai Gym is built for those who are serious about making real progress in Muay Thai. Classes run Monday to Saturday across five daily slots — morning at 8:30–10:00 AM and afternoon sessions at 1:30, 3:00, 4:30, and 6:00 PM — each lasting 90 minutes. Valid for 30 days, 10 sessions across a month means training roughly 2–3 times per week — the sweet spot for building technique and conditioning simultaneously.

At 10 sessions, the training stops being an introduction and starts being a practice. Guided by Kru O — whose credentials include the IFMA World Championships, SEA Games, and the World Games Atlanta USA — each class is part of a longer arc: strikes become sharper, combinations more instinctive, and conditioning builds in a way that a handful of sessions simply cannot deliver. Coaching adapts to every student in the class, so whether you arrive as a complete beginner or with experience behind you, the instruction meets you where you are and moves you forward.

Situated on Wiang Kaeo Road in the Old City, the gym is a short walk from Wat Phra Singh (550 m) and minutes from Chiang Mai International Airport (5.6 km) — convenient whether you are arriving fresh or fitting training into the final stretch of a longer trip.

Training Program

Each session covers the complete fundamentals of Muay Thai — the Art of 8 Limbs — training punches, elbows, knees, kicks, and push kicks through a structured progression designed for both beginners and experienced students.

  • Warm-up & Stretching — Dynamic movement drills to prepare the body and reduce injury risk
  • Shadow Boxing — Developing rhythm, footwork, and body mechanics without contact
  • Pad Work — Drilling strike combinations with a trainer on pads to build timing, accuracy, and power
  • Bag Work — Heavy bag rounds to reinforce technique and build conditioning
  • Partner Drills — Controlled exercises with a training partner to practise distance, timing, and reaction
  • Clinch Work — Close-range techniques including clinch control, sweeps, and knee strikes under trainer supervision

FAQ

  • How should I spread 10 sessions across 30 days?
Training 2–3 times per week gives your body time to recover and adapt — the most effective pattern for building real technique over a month.

  • Is this suitable for someone who has never trained Muay Thai before?
Yes. Coaching adapts to your level from day one — beginners and experienced students train together with individual instruction throughout.

  • Do I need to book each session in advance?
Booking ahead is recommended, particularly for morning sessions which are popular and fill quickly.
