Class description

Seven Muay Thai group sessions at Chiangmai Muay Thai Gym — enough time to build technique that sticks, conditioning that shows, and confidence that follows you home.

This 7-session group class package at Chiangmai Muay Thai Gym is designed for those who want structured, progressive Muay Thai training with enough sessions to see real change. Classes run Monday to Saturday across five daily slots — morning at 8:30–10:00 AM and afternoon sessions at 1:30, 3:00, 4:30, and 6:00 PM — each lasting 90 minutes. Valid for 30 days, sessions can be spread across the month or concentrated into a focused training block.

Seven sessions gives your body and technique time to adapt. With Kru O — a head coach whose experience spans the IFMA World Championships, SEA Games, and the World Games Atlanta USA — the coaching goes beyond drilling strikes. Each session builds on the last: footwork becomes instinct, combinations start to flow, and the clinch stops feeling foreign. All levels train together here, with instruction adjusted individually so that beginners and returning students both leave each class having genuinely improved.

The gym is located on Wiang Kaeo Road in the heart of the Old City, within walking distance of Wat Phra Singh (550 m) and close to Wat Lok Moli (2.4 km) and Tha Phae Gate (2.4 km) — easy to reach from anywhere in the city and simple to fit into a longer stay in Chiang Mai.

Training Schedule

  • Monday – Saturday: Morning 8:30 – 10:00 AM
  • Monday – Saturday: Afternoon 1:30 – 3:00 PM | 3:00 – 4:30 PM | 4:30 – 6:00 PM | 6:00 – 7:30 PM

Training Program

Each session covers the complete fundamentals of Muay Thai — the Art of 8 Limbs — training punches, elbows, knees, kicks, and push kicks through a structured progression designed for both beginners and experienced students.

  • Warm-up & Stretching — Dynamic movement drills to prepare the body and reduce injury risk
  • Shadow Boxing — Developing rhythm, footwork, and body mechanics without contact
  • Pad Work — Drilling strike combinations with a trainer on pads to build timing, accuracy, and power
  • Bag Work — Heavy bag rounds to reinforce technique and build conditioning
  • Partner Drills — Controlled exercises with a training partner to practise distance, timing, and reaction
  • Clinch Work — Close-range techniques including clinch control, sweeps, and knee strikes under trainer supervision
  • Trainer Feedback — Personalised correction and technical guidance from Kru O or the coaching team at the end of each session
